The journey of the Eco-Detectives reaches its final and most radiant station: LIGHT. In this collaborative eTwinning activity, preschool children from Greece and Romania explored the cultural and environmental power of the Sun through traditional storytelling and art.
The activity was structured as a shared digital storybook in Canva. Romanian schools introduced the magical legend of the Sânziene (Sun fairies), while Greek schools presented the classic myths of Helios and Icarus. In a beautiful display of cultural exchange, partner schools cross-illustrated each other's stories, with Greek students coloring the Carpathian legends and Romanian students bringing the ancient Greek shores to life.
This final project highlights the Sun not only as a mythical character but as a universal symbol of life, renewable energy, and European connection. It serves as our absolute stepping stone from the "Grey World" of environmental neglect to a bright, colorful, sustainable future!
